Thompson Machine the Tool & Die Group Inc. maintains a quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001:2015. Our entire staff prides themselves in performing quality work, so that the corporation works as a whole, as though we are each other’s customer. This professional dynamic relationship incorporates quality into all aspects of administration, manufacturing and production.

Quality planning, die designers and manufacturing work together to formulate the best plan to target, monitor, verify and achieve customer specifications to assure product excellence.

In process planning, incorporates SPC verification methods and analysis. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a method of quality control which employs statistical methods to monitor and control a process. This helps to ensure that the process operates efficiently, producing parts in tolerance. Process reliability is key to successful manufacturing. Specific part production trends are shared with tooling experts for continuous product and process improvement. Special customer concerns and part characteristics are addressed during quality planning.

Our metrology lab is equipped with the newest measurement verification instrumentation available to insure product conformance and customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance also maintains MIL-SPECS, Material Specifications and processing specifications to assure compliance to specific customer requirements. Complete FAI (First Article Inspection), Layout and Final Inspections per customer requirements and formats are accomplished on all production parts.
